Throughout the first three Marvel Rivals seasons, there have been major changes to the hero rankings with some characters climbing and others falling. Players loved Jeff the Land Shark in Quickplay for his cute appearance and skills, even if he had a lower victory rate than other characters.
Due to the introduction of new heroes like the Fantastic Four and Emma Frost, along with a series of nerfs and buffs to existing heroes, the meta has changed along with win rates in Season 2. If you’re curious to find out which of your favorite heroes are the biggest winners and losers, we’ve got you covered.
Marvel Rivals characters with highest win rate in Season 2
With each new Marvel Rivals season, the meta evolves as heroes fall in and out of favor, which directly impacts their win rate and pick rate. These stats are divided into two game modes – Quickplay and Competitive – to reflect the meta-heavy emphasis of Competitive and the more lenient, experimental hero picks found in Quickplay. Here are the top 5 heroes with the highest win rates in the current competitive meta lobbies:
Storm (Duelist) – 54.49% (Hero with the highest win rate)
Storm’s win rate in Marvel Rivals Season 2 is 54.49%, more or less the same as her win rate in Season 1.5. She’s a menace on the battlefield and extremely hard to deal with if not countered properly. Storm received no buffs or nerfs with the new season, which was the right move by NetEase.
What’s interesting is that Storm’s ban rate went from 36.47% in Season 1 to only 0.36% so far in Season 2. Her pick rate used to be under 1% in the first week of Season 2, making her the second-least-popular hero in the game, right after Black Widow. However, Storm’s pick rate has increased lately and is now at 4.65%.
Rocket Raccoon (Strategist) – 54.08%
In Marvel Rivals, Rocket Raccoon has an astounding 54.08% win percentage, making him a noteworthy Strategist in Season 2. This remarkable success is due to his diverse kit, which combines healing, mobility, and team assistance. His secondary fire provides area-of-effect healing, and his revive beacon keeps teammates in the fight, which is critical for point control.
Rocket’s ultimate, C.Y.A. increases team damage by 25% while also providing extra shields in Season 2. It’s become one of the best ultimate abilities in the game and is a huge reason why Rocket hasn’t been affected by the mobility nerf.
Mister Fantastic (Duelist) – 53.37%
Mister Fantastic received plenty of buffs with the release of Season 2, and his mains have taken advantage of this. The member of the Fantastic Four even had the highest win rate in the first two weeks of the season. His win rate has slightly decreased, but he’s still among the best heroes in Marvel Rivals.
Considering that Mister Fantastic is a hybrid Duelist, who can also serve as a Vanguard, his value on the battlefield is massive. The Duelist received significant buffs to his health and damage, which has propelled him to the top 3 heroes in the season.
Hulk (Vanguard) – 52.99%
Hulk is another Marvel Rivals hero that has received a couple of buffs with the release of Season 2. The Vanguard’s health increased by 50 hit points, and the cooldown on his shield decreased by two seconds. Furthermore, Bruce Banner now shares his Gamma power with Namor.
Thanks to these changes, the tank now has a 52.99% win rate, the highest in his class. He was a decent hero in the last season as well, but his buffs have increased his win rate by four percentage points.
Iron Man (Duelist) – 52.88%
Iron Man is another flying hero who can wreak havoc in Marvel Rivals. He’s received two significant buffs with the release of Season 2, which have made him much more valuable. Tony Stark’s hitbox is now smaller, and his Armor and Gamma Overdrive grant 100 Bonus Health, helping him laser enemies.
With a ban rate of only 0.76%, Iron Man is available in most ranked games. In the last season, his win rate was under 50%, ranking seventh among Duelists. In Season 2, Iron Man is a hero with the fifth-highest win rate, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
