Marvel Rivals Season 2, which runs for three months, is jam-packed with in-game events that provide exclusive rewards, such as the Hellfire Gala-themed skins for characters like Storm, Cloak & Dagger, and Luna Snow, as well as the free Mantis Flora Maiden cosmetic obtained through the Cerebro Database event.
The Flower of Krakoa Battle Pass adds 10 additional costumes and cosmetics to the experience, and weekly objectives ensure that players can earn all rewards. Competitive play has also evolved, with a new map rotation, updated rank criteria, and bans beginning at Gold III.
As the season advances, hype grows for the Hellfire Gala Moments event, which will debut on May 2, 2025. This event promises new challenges (Acts) and free rewards, adding to the mutant festivities. Here’s how to complete all Acts and earn free rewards in the event.
All Acts in Marvel Rivals Hellfire Gala Moments Event
The Hellfire Gala Moments event in Marvel Rivals Season 2 takes place from May 2 to May 23, 2025, and immerses players in Krakoa’s mutant celebration with three acts that earn freebies. Here’s how to win each act.

Act 1: Explore Krakoa
Act 1 requires players to visit three critical sites on the Krakoa map—likely the Green Lagoon, Flying Dragon, and Krakoa’s Next Gen. Queue for Quick Match (Krakoa) to ensure the map spawns, as it is on rotation. Explore during matches to reach each location; the game will automatically log your trips.
Chrono Tokens are obtained by completing matches, winning, and achieving objectives such as seizing control of locations. Play aggressively as a Duelist, such as Wolverine or Spider-Man, to gain more kills and tokens. For maximum efficiency, prioritize Quick Match or Competitive to complete this act in 5-7 matches. Upon completion, you’ll be rewarded with 180 Chrono Tokens.
Act 2: Hellfire Trading Company Gifts
For Act 2, you’ll need to clear challenge missions to collect X-Coins and draw gifts from the Hellfire Trading Company. Each event challenge completed will give you a set number of coins.
Once you have 50 X-Coins, you’ll be able to draw a pack from a total of 8 packs. To open all packs, you’ll require 400 X-Coins, which will grant you multiple rewards, right from Chrono Tokens to Units, and a Spray.
However, the highlight reward from this act is the “To Me, My X-Men!” emote for Emma Frost, where she wears the Cerebro, which you can claim after unlocking all packs.
Act 3: Gala Star Vote
To complete Act 3, you need to complete event-based missions to earn Voting Tokens and help your favorite hero win an all-new costume. Once you have a Voting Token, you can vote for any of your favorite hero on the event page for their looks, and they’ll get a free Hellfire costume next year based on community votes.
Access the voting interface via the event page, selecting your favorite hero daily. Votes reset periodically, so log in regularly. You can vote 10 times to generate a custom Gallery Card for your favorite hero.
Once you complete this act, you unlock the best reward of them all, the Wolverine Patch costume for free.
