The launch of Marvel Rivals Season 3 comes with new cosmetic items. The new Battle Pass brings 10 amazing costumes, while the shop has new color styles and fancy bundles. On top of this, NetEase released Accessories, a new type of cosmetic item that you can equip on your characters. The best part? You can unlock these cosmetics for free!
In this guide, we will explain how to unlock Accessories for free in Marvel Rivals. Thanks to NetEase, we had a chance to test the new season and try out these new cosmetics.
How to get Accessories in Marvel Rivals Season 3?
To get Accessories for free, all you need to do is play matches. With every match played, whether it’s Quick Play or Competitive, you will earn Accessory Points. Once you earn enough points, you will be able to redeem them for Accessories of your choice.
The early access version of Marvel Rivals Season 3 has two accessories: Deadpool Plush (Jeff the Land Shark) and Orochi Plush (Psylocke). Unfortunately, these are hero-specific Accessories, which means they cannot be equipped with other characters. However, there is no doubt that NetEase will add more of these cosmetics in the future.
To check how many Accessory Points you’ve earned, you can simply go to the Play screen, as shown in the screenshot below.
Here are a few more important details regarding Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals:
- Accessory Points have a weekly cap of 700 that resets every Friday at 9 AM UTC
- You will earn a 100% bonus (double amount) on the first 200 Accessory Points earned every week
- Unused points carry over between seasons
While the early version of the new season has only two accessories, we expect more of them to come out soon. With Marvel Rivals Season 3 releasing on Friday, there is a chance that NetEase will add more cosmetics on day one.
