Royal Raceway is a drift racer’s paradise. Every corner can be boosted out of and while there aren’t many opportunities for shortcuts, the track alone can be used to shave seconds off of lap times.
It’s possible to drift into turn five and still make the shortcut onto the boost ramp, as the video below shows, just make sure you straighten the kart early in order to make the most of it, and use a mushroom onto the grass.
When gliding over the water, stick to the left, as you’ll avoid the Toads in hot air balloons and also have the inside line on the first turn when you land.
There’s plenty of coins on this track so don’t worry if you miss a couple along the way, you’ll most certainly collect 10 within a lap.
