Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6 DLC release date
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6 DLC release date is November 9th. This was confirmed by Nintendo through their overview trailer showcasing all of the new tracks that you can race through upon launch.
Previously, a trailer from Nintendo said we can expect to see the latest Mario Kart Wave ‘this winter. Nintendo had previously confirmed that all six waves would be released within the year, so it’s no surprise we are seeing the upcoming expansion launch before the year ends. It’s also worth noting that this is the final Wave of DLC for the Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass – so there will be no Wave 7.
When does Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6 DLC come out?
The release time for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 6 is 5 PM PT/ 8 PM ET on November 8th, and 1 AM GMT on November 9th. This comes courtesy of Nintendo Japan which says the DLC launches on November 9th at 10 AM JST. Said Japanese launch hours translate to the aforementioned times for the United States and UK.

Nintendo has revealed what courses will be coming as part of Wave 6. The confirmed courses are:
- Wii Rainbow Road (Mario Kart Wii)
- Tour Madrid Drive (Mario Kart Tour)
- GCN DK Mountain (Mario Kart Double Dash)
- Wii Daisy Circuit (Mario Kart Wii)
- Piranha Plant Cove (Mario Kart Tour)
- SNES Bowser Castle 3 (Super Mario Kart)
- Tour Rome Avanti (Mario Kart Tour)
- 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World (Mario Kart 7)
MK8 Wave 6 characters
Nintendo has also revealed what characters will be coming as part of Wave 6. These include:
- Diddy Kong
- Funky Kong
- Pauline
- Peachette
As per Nintendo’s announcement, there won’t be any more characters added to the game after this Wave has been released.
