You can find Gentle Gaverus’ boss arena in Pilgrim’s Perch near the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Gentle Gaverus is the boss after Scourged Sister Delyth and before the Congregator of Flesh.

Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds starts the fight in the center of the boss arena. While the fight is easier than some, there is a degree of difficulty that comes from needing to dodge her hounds while you fight her. Let’s break this fight down.

Tips for defeating Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds

When you enter the boss arena, you will see Gentle Gaverus in the center of the room. Shortly after, two hounds will come out and start chasing you. To make this fight easier, run around the arena, making sure to keep a good distance from the hounds and dodging the boss’ arrows.

When you see the boss kneel to fire a more powerful shot, run in and attack a few times, and then run away. You can repeat this process through the entire first phase of the boss fight. Using short swords or other small weapons will help you get more hits during the encounter.

During the second phase of the boss fight, Gentle Gaverus will use more holy attacks with her bow. Remain at a distance and keep running in when you see her kneel. This will allow you to ship away at her health over time without much issue.
