How to beat Scourged Sister Delyth in Lords of the Fallen

Scourged Sister Delyth is a strong opponent for the early parts of the game. She has quick attacks and can attack from a distance. Let’s break down her attacks and how to beat her.

Scourged Sister Delyth attacks

Scourged Sister Delyth has the following attacks:

Swing	Scourged Sister Delyth swings her flail horizontally. This attack can be used multiple times in a row.	Dodge back and keep distance until the attack ends. This attack can also be parried.
Overhead Slam	Scourged Sister Delyth performs an overhead slam with her flail.	Dodge to the side or parry.
Uppercut	Scourged Sister Delyth swings her flail in an upward motion.	Dodge to the side or parry.
Kick	Scourged Sister Delyth kicks forward.	Dodge to the side.

Tips for defeating Scourged Sister Delyth

As soon as you enter the boss arena, kill the two enemies on the left side of the arena. After that, you will see Scourged Sister Delyth at the bottom of the stairs. As you approach, you will see that she has a blue health bar. This means that she is protected by a parasite.

You can deal with the parasite in two ways:

1. Destroy the parasite using your Umbral Lamp. It appears to the right of where Delyth is standing at the start of the fight.
2. Lure Delyth up the stairs and out of range of the parasite. This is the easiest of the options.

You can easily bring Delyth’s health bar down using a long-range weapon since she isn’t great at distance during the first phase of the fight. Take advantage of her slow movement and hit her from a distance to keep her stunned.

When the boss reaches half health, she will transition into her second phase. During this time, she becomes more deadly and her head gets a yellow orb around it. When she traditions, you can run down the stairs to quickly destroy the parasite if you didn’t before though it is not necessary if you keep her at the top of the stairs.

There are red orbs that you can siphon at the base of the stairs to damage Delyth if needed. These appear in the Umbral Realm. During phase two, Delyth will be more active and perform many swing attacks and combos. Carefully watch her attacks and get in a hit or two when there is an opening. Do not get greedy or you will be punished here.

Scourged Sister Delyth will also summon bleed tornadoes that explode on impact and slightly track you. You can interrupt these by using a throwable provided you have any. You can also use magic to destroy them if needed.
