Make sure you check out what microtransactions are in the game so you can get even more out of the experience. But, if you want to join online, can you transfer your offline character? We’re here to let you know.

Can you bring an offline character online in Last Epoch?

No, as of right now there is no way to bring a character created offline to the online servers. Offline characters can only remain offline. The same is true for the reverse as well. There’s no way to bring an online character to the offline realm.

This is sad news for players who were hoping to play their favorite character with their friends but are stuck offline. Creating a new character in the online realm instead is the only way to play co-op.

There’s no official word from Eleventh Hour Games if this feature will ever come to the game. For now, players will have to make a new character to play in the online realm.

Last Epoch Online vs Online

If you’re just jumping into the game, you have to choose between playing your character online or offline. There are a few major differences between online play and offline play:

  • Whether an internet connection required
  • Access to leaderboards and trading
  • Whether you can pause the game

In the online servers, you need to have an internet connection to play at all. You’ll get access to the leaderboard and trading systems. Also, you cannot pause the game at any time.

In the offline servers, you can pause the game and don’t need an internet connection to play, but you won’t have access to trading or leaderboards. You also won’t be able to play with any other players, including friends you invite through Steam.

Whether you want to play online or offline is completely up to you. If you plan on playing co-op at some point, choose to play online. But, if you want a fully single-player experience, offline is the best bet.
