Henry’s back for a second stint in the danger-filled lands of 15th-century Bohemia as he embarks on a new adventure alongside Hans. It was one of the most-anticipated launches of the early portion of 2025, offering players a rich-detailed medieval sim to stretch their role-playing muscles and then some. As we noted in our review, there’s plenty to be excited about, leading many to wonder whether the sequel is available on Xbox’s subscription service.
The short answer is that, no, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 isn’t currently pencilled in for Game Pass, at least not as a day-one release. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything we know about Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on the Xbox Game Pass.
Is KCD2 on Game Pass?
As of right now, there’s been no official confirmation that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be on Game Pass, whether that’s on the PC or console variant of the service. As of the game’s release on February 4, 2025, players will need to purchase the game outright to play.
As for the future, that’s anyone’s guess. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 could indeed make its way to Microsoft’s service at a later date, much like the first entry did back in 2019, though it did quickly leave in 2020. Again, there’s been no confirmation from developer Warhorse, publisher Deep Silver, or Microsoft so all of this remains very much in the realm of speculation, and possibly even wishful thinking.
So soon after the release of KCD2, the devs are preoccupied with patches and updates to the game, so no new information has been shared about a possible Game Pass release. However, it’s not out of the realm of possibility, as we outlined above. Still, as of the writing of this article, there are no indications that the game will be joining Microsoft’s subscription service any time soon. We will update you if that changes, as always.
