However, you can also go the more natural route and have a baby with your Zoi partner. It’s worth saying that conceiving can be a bit tricky even if you know the steps. In this guide, we’ll break down how to try for a baby in inZOI and what to do once pregnancy is confirmed. Parenthood doesn’t stop there, so you’ll need all the help you can get along the way.
Pregnancy in inZOI
Before you can discuss having a baby with another Zoi, you’ll need to form a strong relationship. This starts with romance at first and culminates in a wedding. Once you’re married, you can discuss having a child together. This is done through dialogue options, by choosing More, then Romance, and picking Suggest Having a Baby. If the conversation goes well, your Zois will become excited and head to the nearest double bed to try for a baby. It’s important to note that Zois can only get pregnant if they are married to someone of the opposite sex. Adoption is currently not available but is planned for a future update on the game’s roadmap.

Not every attempt to conceive will be successful, and having a conversation about parenthood doesn’t guarantee pregnancy. After the deed is done, you can do a pregnancy test. If everything goes as planned, you’ll receive a pop-up message congratulating you on expecting a baby.
How long does pregnancy last?
Pregnancy in InZoi lasts for about three in-game days. Each day represents a different stage, with your Zoi’s baby bump gradually growing as time passes. During this period, your Zoi will feel uncomfortable, and some interactions will be unavailable. However, it’s all worth it because, on the third day, you’ll get a prompt next to your Zoi’s profile image indicating that it’s time for them to give birth.
Once the baby is ready to be born, gather your family and prepare for the moment. If you don’t time it perfectly, no worries – your baby will be placed in a crib within the house. If the crib is in an inconvenient spot, you can move it around using the build menu to make things easier. You can even design a dedicated baby room by using the build menu and decorate it as much as you want.
Next steps – what to do after having a baby in inZoi
The newborn won’t be able to do much at first, but this is just the beginning of your journey as a parent. Over time, the baby will grow into a toddler, crawling around the house and beginning to interact with their environment. This is when the real fun starts, as you begin to shape their future.
Parenthood in InZoi is about more than just providing the basics like food, shelter, and love. You’ll need to actively engage with your child, forming memories and helping shape their personality as they grow. Throughout their childhood and into adolescence, your child will be highly impressionable, and you can guide them toward becoming who they are meant to be. Celebrate their milestones with parties and birthday cakes, help them through school, and take them out for weekend trips to the park.
As your child matures, parents will continue to have a relationship with them even after they become adults. Even if the parents (unfortunately) split and get a divorce, the child will maintain a relationship status with both. They may eventually move away, but you’ll always have a connection. It’s important to check in on them now and then to maintain a strong bond.
