If you’re a fan of the life sim genre, you’ll recognize the familiar experience InZOI offers, and much like The Sims, Krafton is dedicated to delivering a wealth of new content over time. With the game now in Early Access on Steam, there are still plenty of changes and improvements to look forward to as the game develops. The upcoming 2025 inZOI roadmap promises even more updates that are sure to flesh out the life-like sim even more.

inZOI 2025 Roadmap

So far, four major updates have been confirmed, stretching throughout the year. While there are updates planned for 2026 as well, those details aren’t known as of yet. Additionally, free DLC will be released during the game’s Early Access, although the specifics of what this will include are still unclear. It’s important to note that these plans are subject to change, so some features may be delayed or even scrapped.

In addition, the Krafton team has expressed the desire to keep updating the game through smaller patches and hotfixes, thanks to the game’s overwhelming success during the launch of Early Access. This means that while the roadmap signifies changes to big swaths of the game, there will be plenty of hotfixes between each of them.

Updates planned for 2026 and beyond

In a live stream before the game’s Early Access debut, InZOI director Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim confirmed that update five is planned for May 2026. Kjun also mentioned that new furniture and outfits will be released every three months, giving players new ways to personalize their Zois regularly.

Future InZOI DLC

So far, the only confirmed DLC is the cat-themed city of Kucingku, launching in August 2025 to celebrate Cat Day. Inspired by Indonesia, Kucingku is known for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life. However, the main attraction for cat lovers will likely be the ability to interact with the numerous stray cats roaming the city.

✓ Free DLC?

Kjun has also promised that all DLC and updates will be free during the Early Access period, so players will have access to a wealth of new content without additional costs.

While the roadmap offers us a glimpse into the future updates coming over the next period of time, there’s still much to look forward to. We will keep an eye and update you on all future news regarding updates for inZOI. Additionally, even after dropping Denuvo, the game’s beefy requirements might mean that you should check it out through GeForceNOW.
