Immortals of Aveum magic types

There are three magic types in Immortals of Aveum, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The three magic types in Immortals of Aveum are:

  • Blue magic
  • Red magic
  • Green magic

Blue magic

Blue magic is the most rounded magic type as it offers both excellent offensive and defensive capabilities. Blue magic will let you fire long-range beams that deal a decent amount of damage, and can critical hit on headshots. Blue magic also gives you the ability to use a shield, which can block a certain amount of damage before breaking, and you can use your whip to grab faraway enemies, dragging them towards you.

Red magic

Red magic is a close-range, highly offensive magic type, and works similarly to a shotgun in conventional FPS games. It typically has very high damage, balanced with a low rate of fire and low ammo capacity, and will damage enemies in a fairly large area ahead of you. However, its damage falls off heavily at range, so make sure to use it close-up. Red magic also provides benefits to melee damage, and with upgrades can inflict the corrosion status effect, dealing damage over time.

Green magic

Green magic is like the SMG of Immortals of Aveum. It has a high ammo capacity and very high fire rate, but each shot deals relatively low damage compared with blue and red magic. It can be difficult to use on smaller mobs, but up against large enemies, and especially bosses, it can tear through an opponent’s health bar with ease. Upgrading green magic will also provide buffs to your dodge and the chance to inflict the decay status, dealing damage over time.

What is the best magic type in Immortals of Aveum?

Thanks to its balanced offensive and defensive capabilities, blue magic is the best magic type in Immortals of Aveum. It can be used effectively to kill enemies at mid-range before they can get near you, but can just as easily pick off longe-range targets like rangers. Using your shield can let you block damage, while you deal some hefty damage, too. Where red magic excels against mobs, and green magic against bosses, blue magic can do it all.

While blue magic is the best magic type, we still think that the best approach to Immortals of Aveum is to use a combination of all three magic types. While they each have their own strengths and weaknesses, they can often be used to combo with each other for some devastating damage. For example, using the blue magic whip to pull enemies towards you before blasting them with red magic is a great strategy. Get used to each form of magic, and play around with different synergies to see what combinations work best for you.
