With MLB The Show making the jump to other platforms besides PlayStation, more people can play than ever before. Plus, with the implementation of crossplay, it doesn’t matter what console your friends are on; you can play together and enjoy the game.

Like most other games, MLB The Show’s crossplay will require you to get it set up, but once that is done, you never have to worry about it again. From there, you can enjoy various game modes with anyone on your friend list, regardless of the console they play on.

Here is how to turn crossplay on in MLB The Show 23.

How to set up crossplay in MLB The Show 23

Setting up crossplay takes little effort on MLB The Show 23, and if you have enabled it in a past game on the same account, it will automatically be used here. When you start up the game, click on your profile icon in the top left corner of the screen on the main menu. From there, move over to the My Profile Tab. Here near the center, you should see a button that says Cross Play, and it will denote if it is on or off.

By default, crossplay should be on. If it is showing off, click on that button to go through the process of turning it on. It may be a case where your console settings have been adjusted so your privacy settings won’t allow you to communicate with other services. Look through them and make sure you are allowing it all to go through.

After that, you should be good to go with crossplaying MLB The Show 23 with your friends and random players. Just make sure you add each other to your friend list and invite them using the in-game system.
