Fortnite has officially released its long-awaited Winterfest 2024 update, which includes a snow-themed map, Christmas decorations, a Yule Log home in the lobby, and Sgt. Winter’s questline, which awards players with a lot of XP.
However, as usual, Epic has brought back certain presents for players to open to receive a free cosmetic item each day in the Yule Log Cabin, which has also been returned. Furthermore, the Chapter 6 Battle Royale gameplay has undergone considerable adjustments, with the addition of the Holiday Presents item on the island, which provides some of the best loot in the game.

How to get Holiday Presents item in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
To get the Holiday Presents item in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, you’ll need to interact with the Mariah Carey NPC who can now be found on the island, right on top of the mountain southeast of Brutal Boxcars POI.
Walk closer to the NPC and interact with her once to receive a Shield Potion. As soon as you get it, open your emote wheel and select the All I Want For Christmas Is You emote that will automatically appear there.
Dance with her to the song for a few seconds until your emote bar gets full at the bottom of your screen. As soon as it’s full, you’ll receive a free Holiday Present item from her. But if you’re too worried about an opponent stealing your present, fret not. You cannot pick up Presents that are claimed for free by other players and neither they’d be able to steal yours.
Furthermore, if you want to skip the entire emote delay altogether, you can straightaway purchase a Holiday Present from her for 400 Gold Bars. This is a much faster method of claiming a present right in your inventory.
Once you claim it, throw it right in front of you and the Holiday Present will grant you consumables like Small Shield Potions or Peppermint Candy, a Boon, an Epic Weapon, Blizzard Grenades, and the new Icy Feet item.
