Fortnite’s Christmas update is finally here as players have been waiting for Winterfest 2024 event to kick off. Now that the content for Winterfest has been added to the game, it brings a snowy island, a warm and cozy Yule Log Cabin, gifts featuring two skins, and a new questline for free rewards.
While the Winterfest rewards require a certain level of grind like the XP you get by completing quests, some items are rather easy to obtain. However, the Christmas cheer is incomplete without Mariah Carey’s iconic All I Want For Christmas Is You song which is now a Fortnite emote. If you’re looking to get the emote, here’s how to get it.
How to get the Fortnite Mariah Carey emote
Fortnite has finally released Mariah Carey out of the slab of ice via a mini-event that took place on the hill near Brutal Boxcars POI and she’s now an NPC on the island. You can visit and interact with her and also dance to the tunes of All I Want For Christmas Is You with an emote.
The emote is now available in the Fortnite Item Shop where you can purchase it for 500 V-Bucks and assign it to your locker. If you still want to try it for free, you can simply walk over to the Mariah Carey NPC and dance to the tunes of the song by simply opening your emote wheel where the emote will appear for free.
However, if you want to use it elsewhere on the island, it’s wiser to purchase it. The song has also been released as a Jam Track in the Item Shop along with two Mariah Carey skins that kicked off this year’s Winterfest 2024 with a magical twist.
