How do you get a firetruck in GTA 5 Online? That’s where we come in. The first thing to note is getting a firetruck in GTA V Online is incredibly easy. There are multiple ways of getting one, and while it’s not the most exciting vehicle in the game, thanks to its deck-mounted water cannon, you can certainly have a lot of fun hosing down your fellow players or enemies.
While the truck takes time getting up to full speed, it’s particularly effective against smaller vehicles if you’re looking to ram them off the road or smash into them. So, how do you get one?
GTA 5 firetruck locations
Unsurprisingly, you can grab yourself a firetruck at any one of the six fire stations that are dotted around Los Santos. Note, when you do this method, your wanted level will increase, so make sure you have a clear escape plan. We’ve listed them below for you:
- Paleto Bay Fire Station
- LSIA Fire Station
- Davis Fire Station
- El Burro Heights Fire Station
- Rockford Hills Fire Station
- Fort Zancudo Fire Station
If you can’t be bothered to head to a fire station, you can also make a call and get a firetruck delivered to you, but this only works if you do not have a wanted level. To do that, please follow these steps:
- Select Contacts in your phone and search for Emergency Services
- Choose Fire Department.
- A firetruck will arrive along with a team, which can then be stolen.
Finally, if you do have a wanted level, remember that firetrucks will be dispatched if a fire breaks out. So if you’re after another creative way of getting one, we recommend starting a few fires and waiting for the cavalry to arrive, We recommend the railgun if you want to cause a lot of damage quickly.
Is the firetruck in GTA 5 worth it?
Yes and no. It’s worth mentioning that you can buy firetrucks at the Warstock Cache & Carry – but we do not recommend spending your cash on them as the cost a ton of dollars. If you use one of the above methods to grab one, the firetruck in GTA 5 is 100% worth having so long as you’re willing to shake the cops and risk a bit of bumpy ride to get one.
