Fallout 4 is out and it’s massive, with players sure to put in hundreds of hours in order to get everything from it, but what if we told you there are hidden shortcuts – cheats – which can provide you with instant access to all the game’s items and even the ending? Sound good, then read on.

First off these commands only work in the PC game and can be entered on by pressing the ~ (tilde) key when in game. Then you enter the desired command, hit enter and close the console command screen by once again pressing ~.

Access every item in Fallout 4

coc qasmoke – Enter this command to be teleported to a secret developer area full of boxes filled with every item in the game, from weapons to Power Armour. Think of it as a post-apocalyptic version of Noel’s Deal or No Deal, only you’ll always be a winner. We’re not sure if there’s an exit from the secret zone, so you may need to use the “coc” command again followed by the area you wish to teleport to.

Become invincible in God Mode

tgm – God Mode is a PC gaming classic, and in Fallout 4 it does exactly what it says on the tin – makes it impossible for you to die. With this command enabled you’ll be able to go anywhere without the fear of losing your life at any moment.

Pretend you are a superhero

When used on conjunction with God Mode there are a number of commands which make your character turn into the superhero he or she was born to be.

setgs fJumpHeightMin [insert number] – The higher the number the bigger your jumps will be, giving you the ability to leap over object and buildings at ease.

player.setav speedmult [insert number] – The number entered is used to multiplayer your running speed, meaning you’ll be able to leg it around the wasteland like The Flash.

killall – Kills everyone in the area, leaving only your companions and vital characters alive.

kill [insert ID] – Kills whatever matches the ID.

resurrect [insert ID] – Revives whatever matches the ID.

Be sure to ensure God Mode is activated or you’ll die pretty quickly when trying to be superhuman.

A world at peace

tai – Turns AI off, leaving every non-playable character in the world as a living mannequin.

tcai – Turns off combat AI, meaning you’ll never be attacked so can freely explore without the fear of death.

tdetect – Prevents the AI from detecting you, meaning you won’t have to try all that hard when trying to loot.

Add any item to your inventory

If you’re running low on stock then this next command is a must to ensure you’re fully equipped for survival.

player.additem [insert item ID] [insert number] – Adds the specified item in the quantity requested to your inventory. A list of popular items can be seen below.
