Just like with the Oathbound Chests, you won’t find these drones everywhere. For that, you need to know where to look. You’ve to act fast, because other players will also be after the loot that falls from the drones. Otherwise, they may all explode by the time you find them. Luckily, we found out where they are for you.
Where to Find Flying Drones in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Flying drones spawn in Hot Spots, each giving 600 XP when you blow them. You can see these areas on the loading screen or at the beginning of the game when you look at the map on the bus. The names of the locations where the drones are located appear in golden yellow.

These locations are randomly determined to be the ones that will be the busiest in this game. But you can still expect that more players than usual will jump there. Be careful in the first few minutes when you go drone hunting there.
Not all drones in an area fly at the same altitude. Most are closer to the ground, but one or two may be higher. But don’t worry, they all explode after a few bullets. So it’s pretty easy to destroy them and get the loot in them.
The weapons and items dropped by all drones are different and completely random. Still, you can expect to find at least one Rare weapon in all drones. In addition, there are plenty of ammunition and possibly medical supplies.
