What are Solar Balloons?
Solar Balloons are a special type of Wilderness balloon, with generally only one spawning per stage. Collecting these balloons is more complex than the regular Wilderness Balloons, but they greatly contribute to your total Wilderness Balloon count; thus, you should definitely be prioritizing their collection for successful clears.Â

How To Collect Solar Balloons
When you first touch a Solar Balloon, it will become transparent and spawn several Purple Wilderness Balloons with a red outline around them. You will have a limited amount of time to collect all of these red outlined balloons before they disappear.
Successfully collecting all of them will also bag you the Solar Balloon, signified by it popping and bursting out confetti.

If you fail to collect all the balloons, you can try it again, as the Solar Balloon will reset itself. Furthermore, you won’t have to recollect balloons you already grabbed on the previous attempt to claim the Solar Balloon.
