Winterfest 2023 is just around the corner! This Fortnite event will once again bring many new things to the game, including map changes and new cosmetic items. Furthermore, you will be able to earn a couple of free cosmetics for attending the event.
Epic Games has released this event every year in December, so 2023 will follow suit. You will be able to earn free Fortnite cosmetics by logging in every day. These cosmetics also include two skins, which has been the case for the past few years.

Can I earn free Winterfest 2023 skins in Fortnite?
Epic Games has released two free skins over the past few Winterfest events in Fortnite. During Winterfest 2023, you will also be able to unlock two free skins. On top of this, there are three other free Fortnite skins you can unlock this month. Furthermore, you won’t have to visit the cabin to claim gifts. Instead, you will redeem free cosmetics through daily gifts.
Here are some of the free cosmetics you can earn during the Winterfest 2023 Fortnite event:

- Snowfaller contrail
- Slurp banner icon
- Elite Servo glider
- Bushie Bright wrap

- Winterfest Wish lobby music

- Bedside Nanner back bling
You can pick one reward each day. Due to this, you will have to log in frequently during the Winterfest event to add all of these cosmetic items to your locker. If you played Fortnite during the last few Winterfest events, you already know the drill.
This year’s event, however, won’t have the lodge, and daily gifts will be obtainable through the quest log.
To open gifts, you need to open the Quest log and go to the Daily Gifts section. You can open a gift every day starting at 9 AM Eastern Time.

You can earn free skins by logging in every day during the Winterfest 2023 event and completing quests. However, keep in mind that these skins will only be available for a limited time.
Will these free skins be available in the Item Shop?
Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that free Winterfest skins will come to the Item Shop. Winterfest skins are usually exclusive, but even if they come to the shop at some point, they won’t be free.
