What is a Mending Machine?

A mending machine is a fencing machine that can be found throughout the Fortnite map. They sell healing items, including bandages, med kits, and shield potions. As such, mending machines are incredibly useful in the mid-late game after you’ve used all the medical supplies that you looted.

Some players may even choose to camp near a mending machine during an intense firefight, to have potentially unlimited healing resources.

Most mending machine items cost around 20-25 gold bars, which is actually pretty affordable. In fact, compared to weapon vendors, this is a bargain!

Mending machines can be found throughout the map. In total, there are 3 Mending Machines in Fortnite, as found at the locations below: 

  • Outside the gas station north of Faulty Splits.
  • Outside the gas station in the green space surrounded by snow towards the map’s northernmost point.
  • Outside the gas station west of Faulty Splits.
