If you’re a PlayStation player who wants to make money playing Fortnite, you’re in luck! The upcoming tournament has a prize pool of over $250,000 and 400 winners. If you think you have what it takes to win a share of the prize, you should start practicing, as the console-exclusive tournament will go live at the end of April.

In this article, we will take a deeper look at the PlayStation Fortnite Cup. This includes the qualifying phase, detailed prizes, dates, and more.

How to participate in the PlayStation Fortnite Cup

To participate in the upcoming cup, you must play on either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. The competition will consist of two phases: qualifiers and finals. To be eligible for the cash prize, you must advance to the finals. To do so, log into Fortnite on April 29 and compete in the tournament. If you finish in the top 100 players in your region, you’ll secure a spot in the final stage.

The qualifiers will run for about three hours, during which you can play up to 10 matches. Once the qualifier period ends, the highest-performing players will move on to the finals, where they’ll compete for cash prizes. The total prize pool is approximately $250,000, and it will be distributed based on the size of each region.

The competitive scoring will be stay more or less the same, with the most points being given for survival. However, one major difference is that you will get two points per elimination during the qualifiers, while each elimination will grant three points in the final round.
