Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 4 brings another free skin. For the first time in eight years, Epic Games released a free skin in the Battle Pass. In the past, the free tier of the pass was reserved for other cosmetics, such as pickaxes, back blings, and some V-Bucks. However, that is no longer the case, as you can now unlock the free Halo skin in Fortnite.
This guide will explain how you can get the new Halo skin in Fortnite for free. The process is straightforward, as all you need to do is play the game and level up before the season ends.
How to unlock the free Halo skin in Fortnite?
The new Fortnite Battle Pass brings eight new skins along with many other cosmetics. Once again, you can earn V-Bucks by leveling up, whether or not you purchase the seasonal pass. One of the new skins is UNSC Spartan, part of the latest Fortnite x Halo collaboration. This was also the first Battle Pass skin revealed by Epic.
The good news is that you can unlock this skin for free, whether or not you purchase the new seasonal pass. If you buy the Season 4 Battle Pass, you will unlock the skin right away. However, if you’re not a Battle Pass holder, all you need to do is reach level 100 to unlock it.
It’s important to note that you won’t get the skin as soon as you reach level 100. Instead, Epic Games will begin granting it on August 26. So if you level up and don’t receive the skin right away, don’t sweat it!
