So if you want to get your hands on the Backfire Car Body in the latest Fortnite update to cruise around in Rocket Racing, we’ve put together a quick guide to tell you exactly what you need to do.

How to unlock Backfire Car Body

To unlock the Backfire Car Body, you’re going to need to complete 10 Metallica quests in Fortnite’s Rocket Racing mode. These are shown separately from the Battle Royale quests required to unlock the rest of the Metallica items. You can access this by opening up the search bar and typing in ‘Rocket Racing’, before selecting the first thumbnail that pops up.

Once you’re in Rocket Racing, check the ‘Quests’ tab at the top of your screen to bring yourself to the list of currently active Metallica quests. At the time of writing, there are only 10 quests you can complete, with another five each coming out on the 17th and 21st June respectively, so you can get the Body right now, with it not taking too long to unlock.

You only need to complete 10 of the 20 total quests to unlock the actual body of the car, but to unlock the full car, including all of the decals and paintworks, you’re going to need to complete all 20 quests.

Most of these quests can be completed simply by playing Rocket Racing normally, so if you’re someone who spends a lot of time in this game mode, you’ll be finished with all the quests in no time.
