How to apply for a job in FM24
Applying for a job in FM24 is simple. Head to the Staff menu on the left-hand side of the screen, and then click on the Job Centre tab at the top. This will give you a list of all of the clubs currently hiring for a whole variety of jobs.
From here, you want to click Filter on the top right corner of the menu. In this menu, you want to deselect all of the jobs apart from Manager, to ensure you’re only looking at managerial vacancies. You can also use the other options to select whether you’re shown club or international teams, the countries of these teams, and what divisions they’re in.
Alex’s Advice
You can apply for any job, but teams will only hire you based on your experience and reputation. If you’ve only managed South Shields in the Vanarama North, you’re probably not going to get the England job.
Once you’ve got a list of all the vacant positions, simply click on a team you want to apply for the job for and click ‘Apply’ in the bottom right corner. Alternatively, you could also click ‘Apply All’ to do just that. After that, it’s just a matter of waiting for the club to send you an interview or a rejection.
You can also use the next tab, Job Security, to check how likely other managers are to be sacked. If you’ve got your eye on a job at a particular club, knowing that their manager’s job is Very Insecure gives you good reason to keep a watch out for a potential vacancy in the future.
