The FM24 In-Game Editor is a must-have for anyone looking to make any changes to their save before setting it up or while you’re playing. Check out our FM24 review to see our thoughts on the newest instalment in the Football Manager series. And if you’re wondering what club you should get started with, our FM24 best clubs to manage guide has some great options to choose from. With that, let’s go ahead and talk about the FM24 In-Game Editor.

How to get the FM24 In-Game Editor
To get the FM24 In-Game Editor, you first have to purchase it separately from the game. With all editions of FM24, the In-Game Editor is only available as a separate purchase. This applies to the Game Pass version, which does not have the Editor included. Once purchased, simply install the editor, and you’ll be able to use it in your game.
Unfortunately, if you’re playing on the Console or Mobile versions of FM24, there is no In-Game Editor available, as it’s only available for the full desktop version of the game.
What does the FM24 In-Game Editor do?
The FM24 In-Game Editor effectively allows you to alter anything and everything in the game. You can alter the player attributes such as current ability and potential ability, change coach and backroom staff attributes, change your club’s attributes to give yourself a £1 billion transfer budget, or even give yourself a five-star reputation. The pre-game editor also lets you set up certain aspects of your save from the main menu before it even starts, such as what database you’re using.
Alex’s Advice
The In-Game Editor is different from the Pre-Game Editor, which can be used to set up certain aspects of your save before you first start it. The Pre-Game Editor doesn’t have as many options to change, however.
That’s just the surface, though. You can use it to change the rules of competitions you’re in to alter registration rules or transfer window lengths, move clubs from England to leagues in France, Germany, or Spain, give work permits to players that otherwise wouldn’t get one, and even relegate your rival club to your country’s bottom tier if you wanted. Basically, if you can think about changing it, you can change it, giving you almost total freedom over what to do in FM24.
