Need a hand understanding Final Fantasy 16 Timely Accessories? When you first load up the game for the first time, you’ll be given the option to choose between two difficulty settings. Opt for story difficulty and later on you’ll find several items in your inventory known as Timely Accessories.

What are Final Fantasy 16 Timely Accessories?

Final Fantasy 16 Timely Accessories are equippable support accessories found in your inventory that modify aspects of the game to make it easier. These include reducing complex ability combinations to a single button press and automatically healing Clive when his HP is low. Most tweak combat controls in an effort to make taking on Final Fantasy 16 bosses a little less daunting for players new to action games.

You can change or unequip Timely Accessories at any time in the Gear & Eikons tab in the main menu  pause screen to allow you to find a combination that works best based on your play style and experience. You’ll find three Timely Accessories slots in the second row of the gear column, meaning you can only equip three at a time.

Here’s a full breakdown of all the Final Fantasy 16 Timely Accessories and how they modify the game:

• Ring of Timely Focus – Slows time before an evadable enemy attack hits Clive, allowing you to pull off a dodge by pressing R1.
• Ring of Timely Evasion – Clive automatically evades evadable attacks with no need for any input from the player.
• Ring of Timely Strikes – Complex ability combinations are simplified to a single button press, square on PS5 for example.
• Ring of Timely Healing – Clive will automatically consume a health potion when his HP drops below a certain point. Normal potions are used first before high potions are consumed.
• Ring of Timely Assistance – Torgal will attack and heal automatically, removing the need to give the dog commands in battle.

Note that equipping the Ring of Timely Focus and the Ring of Timely Evasion, gives priority to the effects of the latter and Clive will automatically avoid evadable attacks.
