The max level in Final Fantasy 16 is level 50 for your first playthrough, jumping to level 100 in New Game Plus mode on Final Fantasy difficulty. By following the main story, completing side quests, defeating Notorious Marks, and just generally taking out enemies as you explore, you should hit the Final Fantasy 16 level cap as you approach the final chapters fairly organically. If you’ve only done the story, you may well be quite far off the level cap, in which case, we recommend dabbling in some of the optional content for an XP boost.
New Game Plus mode, and the higher level 100 cap, unlock after you’ve unlocked the game for the first time.
