The latest release in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team has arrived, with the Trent Alexander-Arnold SBC now available as part of the Shapeshifters event. The SBC has arrived as part of a wider release which includes a brand-new set of player items in packs.
Eight new players are now available in packs as part of the latest Shapeshifters Team 3 release. There are also several new Shapeshifters Icon players to look out for too, including a new RW Thierry Henry.
Trent Alexander-Arnold SBC (OVR 94)
Looking for a new creative spark for your Ultimate Team? Well, the new Trent Alexander-Arnold SBC certainly provides the goods. The England international has moved into a more advanced role with his primary position now set to Striker. His alternate positions are CF and CAM.
We think that a CAM role is best suited for Alexander-Arnold’s new item. 95 Pace is the norm at this stage of the season, so his 99 Stamina makes him ideal for a midfield role. Five-star skill moves also make him brilliant at creating space around the box.
The main reason we won’t use him as a main striker is the four-star weak foot. This late in the season it really is five-star weak foot only up front as you want your main man to be deadly with either foot. Trent’s 95 Finishing is still excellent, but we think he has other qualities.
For example, 96 Crossing and 94 Vision mean that this Alexander-Arnold SBC will be lethal from wide positions. If you deploy multiple CAMs in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2, Trent could be the ideal man for the right hand side.
