FUT Season 7 is underway in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, coinciding with the end of the Team of the Season event in FUT. Each new season has been themed in FIFA 23, with Season 6 titled ‘TOTS Season Swaps’. The new season has been titled ‘Season 7 Shapeshifters’, so we know what to expect!
There is heaps of new content included in the new season, with loads of rewards to earn for your club. Add in new promo events and Ultimate TOTS, and Season 7 will offer ample opportunity to bolster your squads.
FUT Season 7 release date
The FUT Season 7 release date was on June 8 and will last six weeks. The Serie A TOTS players were in packs at the beginning of the new season, but for less than 48 hours! They were then replaced by the Ultimate TOTS players, Award Winners, and a new batch of Man of the Match items.
One of the key additions to the game is the new Season Progress rewards which include some highly-rated new players, including an incredible 97 OVR Toni Kroos! Just like Season 6, the new season offers some incredible high-value packs, giving us the choice between a great pack or fantastic new player item.
FUT Season 7 rewards
FUT Season 7 rewards will be available to unlock for the duration of the season. Each of the previous seasons has had 30 levels to unlock, each coming with a new reward. Season 7 has a whopping 40 levels to unlock, with 36,500 XP needed to complete the rewards. The first few levels are always easy to complete, but the rewards are not as valuable.
As you progress through the levels, the rewards become much better. High value packs and brand-new special items become available, and you may have to make a choice between two of them.

FUT Season 7 promos
The new season will kick off with the final Team of the Season release. The Ultimate TOTS release date is on June 9, with Shapeshifters set to follow on June 16.
Players included in the Shapeshifters event will see changes to their position, alongside huge ratings boosts and upgrades to their weak foot and skill move attributes. Last year’s event ran for four weeks, so this could dominate Season 7 for the next six weeks.
Fan favourite events from previous years such as Summer Heat and FUTTIES would be hugely popular in the community. We haven’t seen Summer Heat for several seasons now, but a return of the event would be sensational.
What is the next FUT 23 promo?
The next FUT 23 promo will be Shapeshifters. Shapeshifters will arrive on June 16 following the end of Ultimate TOTS week.
Will FIFA 23 be the last FIFA?
FIFA 23 will be the last FIFA game developed by EA. EA Sports FC will be the new name of the franchise, while FIFA may continue with a different developer.
