FIFA 23 Gavi Objectives – how to unlock fast

Another release in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team has arrived, with the Gavi Objectives now available to unlock for free as part of the Shapeshifters event. The Objective item has arrived as part of a wider release which includes a brand-new set of player items in packs.

A new batch of special items is now available in packs as part of the latest Shapeshifters Team 3 release. This includes several new Shapeshifters Icon players and eight Shapeshifters items, with Nicolas Pepe and Youssef En-Nesyri receiving premium chemistry.

Gavi Objectives (OVR 93)

We didn’t need another Spanish full-back after a plethora of them have been released recently, but the new Gavi Objectives item is the best of the lot. Rated 93 OVR, Gavi’s new RB position will provide the perfect teammate for the recent Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba End of an Era items.

Most of us will have unlocked the Jesus Navas Flashback item that was released as part of the Season 6 progress rewards. However, if you didn’t then Gavi is the perfect option for the right back slot. He is even able to play at RWB if your preference is a back five.

With 95 Pace, 97 Stamina, and 92 Defensive Awareness, Gavi is a brilliant new option for the position. We do think the 93 OVR is a little misleading given his physical and defensive attributes aren’t that high, but he does possess excellent technical qualities.

If this item wasn’t available for free we wouldn’t be going near it. But, the fact is that it is free, so you may as well complete it while competing in your usual FUT game modes.

How to unlock

To unlock the Gavi Objectives item you will need to complete four challenges. The challenges are as follows:

Tiki-taka

• Assist six goals using Spanish players in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals and FUT Champions).

6 With Style

• Score six goals in Squad Battles using players with minimum 80 Dribbling on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals and FUT Champions).

Bend It In

• Assist three goals using a Cross in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals and FUT Champions).

Spanish Success

• Win eight Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals and FUT Champions) while having minimum three Spanish players in your starting 11.

Fastest solution

You will need to play at least eight matches to unlock the new Gavi Objectives. If you plan on competing in FUT Champions this weekend, just add three Spaniards to your team and you will be fine.

Completing the 6 With Style objective will be dead easy as almost all of your players will have a dribbling rating of 80 or higher. The Bend It In objective should also be straightforward given the number of games you will be playing.

As far as scoring with Spanish players goes, having Busquets and Alba in your team is a start, but they aren’t real goal threats. For this, we would recommend Trophy Titans Fernando Torres (365k), or Fernando Morientes (51k) to bang in the goals.
