How to add, invite, and play with friends in FC 24

FIFA 23 introduced us to EA Play. This provided a streamlined platform that allowed players to easily connect and enjoy a match with their mates. With cross-play set to be more prevalent than ever in FC 24, the importance of EA Play is only getting greater.

EA Play allows you to create parties and lobbies. This makes adding your mates for online play across all of FC 24’s modes easy.

Follow these steps to add and invite your friends in this year’s game:

• From the main menu, press RT (Xbox)/R2 (PlayStation) to bring up the EA Social Hub.
• Your friends will automatically appear in the ‘friends’ tab.
• If you wish to add a player, you need to navigate to the ‘Player Search’ tab and enter your friends’ EA ID.
• When your friend is added, you can click on their name and select the option to invite them to a lobby.
• This will open a private lobby. From there you can compete, or collaborate, with your friends across FC 24’s major modes.

Cross-play is now fully implemented in FC 24. The benefits of EA Social will allow you to efficiently enter match lobbies with your friend, rather than having to wait for match invites to be accepted.
