Where to get Treasury Notes in Fallout 76

Treasury Notes are obtained by completing public events, seasonal events, Daily Faction Quests, and Wastelanders Daily Quests. Each of these will reward a few notes at a time. For instance, you may receive around three to five for completing an event.

When placed in your inventory, these notes have no weight and you can carry as many as you’d like. Once you have Notes, they can be exchanged for Gold Bullion. That currency can then be used to purchase unique items from different vendors such as Minerva, Regs, Samuel, and Mortimer. These vendors can be found in Foundation (the settler location), Crater (the raider location), and Vault 79.

Available early on

You can obtain Treasury Notes as soon as you leave the vault at the start of the game. This was changed thanks to the release of the Steel Reign update. Prior to this update, you could only get Treasury Notes after completing the Secrets Revealed main quest as part of the Wastelanders update.

Treasury Note farming

The only real way to farm Treasury Notes in Fallout 76 is to grind out your daily quests and complete events. Each time you see a new event appear, be sure to join it and complete it as quickly as possible. The better you do during an event, the more notes you will obtain.

Treasury Notes can be used at the Gold Press Machine in Foundation. This machine is located in the back of Foundation near where Samuel can be seen standing.

Each of the notes that you get is a 10 Bullion Note. This means that they can each be traded for 10 Gold Bullion. You can get a maximum of 400 Gold Bullions this way each day. The occasional Gold Rush Event doubles the daily limit of Gold Bullion from 400 to 800.
