Elden Ring Nightreign is an upcoming standalone adventure set in the critically acclaimed universe of Elden Ring. While much of the core gameplay promises to keep the same souls-like mechanics we know and love in FromSoftware games, Nightreign is imagined as a primarily 3-player co-op experience. Players can choose between different classes, each with their distinct abilities and mechanics, with a focus on synergies during combat. Speaking of which, we can surely expect to see epic boss battles like in the original game. So when will Elden Ring Nightreign be released? Let’s find out.
Elden Ring Nightreign release date and time
Elden Ring Nightreign is going to be released on May 30, 2025. There is still no information about the game’s release time. The original game had different release times between PC and consoles, so we can likely expect a similar arrangement. We will update this section when more information becomes available.
Which platforms is Elden Ring Nightreign releasing on?
Elden Ring Nightreign is going to be released on PC through Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It’s unlikely that the game will be available on the Xbox Game Pass during launch. Similarly, the original Elden Ring wasn’t verified for Steam Deck, so it’s not likely that Nightreign is going to be verified either.
Elden Ring Nightreign Editions and pre-order bonuses
Elden Ring Nightreign will come in a few different Editions: Standard, Deluxe, Collector’s, and Seekers. In addition, pre-purchasing the game on any platform will get you a bonus gesture as a reward (however, it can be obtained later in the game too).
While the Standard Edition costs $39.99 USD and comes with just the base game, others bring more rewards. The Deluxe Edition costs $54.99 USD and comes with:
- The base game
- Additional DLC with extra playable characters and bosses (available around Q4 2025)
- Digital Artbook
- Mini Soundtrack
Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition has several physical rewards bundled as well. Here’s what it includes:
- The base game
- Additional DLC with extra playable characters and bosses (expected to be available around Q4 2025)
- Steel Book
- Digital Soundtrack
- 25 cm Statue of Wylder
- 8 Nightfarers Cards
- Hardcover Artbook
Lastly, the Seekers Edition is available only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also a physical version of the game and comes with the following:
- The base game
- Additional DLC with extra playable characters and bosses (expected to be available around Q4 2025)
- Steel Book
- Digital Soundtrack
- Digital Artbook
However, there is still no information about the pricing for the Collector’s and Seekers editions of Elden Ring Nightreign. The pre-registration for the two is available through the Bandai Namco online store.
