Dynasty mode in College Football 25 puts you in the driver’s seat, coaching a team to greatness. And while in the short-term, your main goal is to get wins using the best players you have at your disposal, as time goes on those same players are going to depart, and you’re going to have to start looking for replacements.

That’s where the Pipeline comes in. So if you’re wondering what the Pipeline is and how it works, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve put together a guide to take you through everything you need to know about the Pipeline in College Football 25.

College Football 25 Pipeline explained

Put simply, your Pipeline is the main way you’re going to be able to scout for new players to add to your team. Your team will have a Pipeline in one or most states, and these will influence how influential you are when it comes to recruiting new players. For example, if you’re a team based in California, you’re going to have a Pipeline in California, making it easier to recruit local players than somewhere like Texas.

Where your Pipelines are located will impact the quality of player you can recruit. A Pipeline in a more populous state like California, Texas or Florida will get you a greater chance of finding better players, but are more competitive. Conversely, smaller states will be less competitive, but will produce fewer top-class players. Of course, the best teams will naturally have better Pipelines than worse teams, too.

All coaches will have a primary Pipeline, meaning they’ll be able to recruit from certain locations more easily. You can alter your Pipelines to try and scout from certain areas, though you should be aware that some schools that historically recruit from certain areas cannot have their Pipelines changed.

How to check Pipelines in College Football 25

You can check the various players in your Pipeline in Dynasty mode via the Recruiting menu by following these steps:

  1. Open the ‘Recruiting’ menu
  2. Press RB/R1 to scroll to the ‘Prospect List’ tab
  3. Move to the ‘PIPE’ tab
  4. Press X/Square to sort and your players will be ranked by Pipeline

What are the best Pipelines in College Football 25?

There is no outright ‘best’ Pipeline, as EA have made sure that different Pipelines reflect what those areas tend to produce in real life. For example, while Southern California will produce more top quarterbacks, East Texas produces big, physical receivers and South Florida produces smaller but faster receivers.
