Changing your Pawn’s specialization
You can change your Pawn’s specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2 by selecting a new specialization scroll. This replaces the current specialization. If you want a previous specialization back, you need to get a new scroll.
How to switch Pawn specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
You can change your Pawn’s specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Unfortunately, this is a change that cannot be undone. For instance, if you give your Pawn the specialization tome for Logistician and then change it using the Chirurgeon’s Tome, you won’t be able to make your Pawn a Chirurgeon again.

When an Arisen is choosing what specialization to add to their Pawn, keep in mind what each specialization does. These jobs have the following effects on your Pawn:

| Woodland Wordsmith | Teaches your Pawn to speak Elvish | Increase your affinity with the Elves in Sacred Arbor |
Each of these specializations has a prerequisite. For instance, to get the Forager Specialization, you must complete a quest in the Vernworth slums for Malcolm called Heel of History. If you want to get the Woodland Wordsmith specialization, you must interact with the elves and perform specific tasks.
You cannot keep switching specializations. Once you have gotten rid of a previous specialization, you cannot get it back unless someone gifts you a scroll or you enter a new game plus.
