If the early access period has excited you for what’s to come, here’s when the Disney Dreamlight Valley release date and start time will be. The game’s official launch is set to bring even more new content to Gameloft’s already successful role-playing adventure game, such as additional biomes, new gameplay features, and more familiar characters from popular Disney franchises.

Following the developer’s revelation that Disney Dreamlight Valley will no longer be free to play at launch, fans have predictably started wondering when the official release is so they can begin preparing their wallets ahead of time. Luckily, we’ll be covering precisely that here, so you won’t have to look any further.

Disney Dreamlight Valley release date

The Disney Dreamlight Valley release date will be on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. At this point, you will need to have purchased the base game in order to re-access all of the content you’d previously enjoyed while playing during the lengthy pre-release period.

Disney Dreamlight Valley expected start time

We expect Disney Dreamlight Valley to be released at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST on December 5, 2023. Though Gameloft has yet to provide a specific launch timing for their beloved fairy tale-centric adventure, this is the most likely window for it to be made publicly available, as this has been the typical timing for several AAA games in the past. With this still yet to be confirmed, though, you’ll need to take it with the customary grain of salt for now.

Disney Dreamlight Valley editions

At launch, Gameloft will make two new versions of the game available for purchase in the Standard and Gold Edition. The former will, of course, only contain the base game and a generous helping of 8,500 Moonstones. Conversely, the latter will include the base game, the expansion pass, and a whopping 15,000 Moonstones instead.

It’s also worth noting that the developer will be releasing the Cozy Edition, a special retail-exclusive version, on November 10 for all platforms, a much earlier date compared to both digital editions. You’ll be able to purchase it through the typical retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Game Stop. Those in the UK can get it through GAME, Smyths Toys, and The Game Collection instead.

That covers all you need to know about the Disney Dreamlight Valley release date. While you wait, check out our Cities Skylines 2 review and Ghostrunner 2 review.
