Need to know where to find the training dummy in Diablo 4? This new addition to the game lets you practice and test out builds for all different classes of enemies.

Making sure a build works for you is incredibly important, whether you’re a Whirlwind Barbarian or a Lightning Sorcerer. You also need to be able to test out different attacks. The new training dummy introduced with patch 1.2.1 is exactly what you need. If you need to know where to find the training dummy and how to use it, we’re here to help.

How to find the training dummy in Diablo 4

The training dummy can be found at The Training Grounds in the city of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks. Head to the Northeast corner of the city, and it will be just right of the steps to the Cathedral of Light. It’s also right next to the World Tier Statue.

Once you find the door labeled The Training Grounds, you can interact with the door to head inside and the training dummy will be there. If you’re having trouble, your mini-map will have a white dungeon icon for The Training Grounds.

How to use the training dummy in Diablo 4

The training dummy can be used to test out different builds and attacks. There is a Stash in the room, to access your items. You can also configure the training dummy in three different settings using the statue on the left side of the room:

  • Normal Training Dummy
  • Elite Training Dummy
  • Boss Training Dummy

It also allows you to choose if there is one single dummy or multiple dummies.

These are pretty self-explanatory, being that you can practice on a dummy that has the health of a normal enemy, an Elite enemy, or a boss. You can also practice AoE attacks by choosing to have multiple dummies, which will add four training dummies to the room.

All you need to do to practice with it is to begin attacking. It won’t attack, but the dummy or dummies will have a health bar that appears once it begins to take damage. You can reset the dummy by going back to the configuration statue.

The training dummy itself has no special reward for attacking or beating it. It is meant solely to practice attacks and try out different builds.
