No big release is complete if it doesn’t come sided by a Twitch Drop campaign for players to snap up free cosmetics and items, and Black Ops 6 is, fortunately, following suit. To mark the worldwide launch of Season 1 of Black Ops 6, Activision has teamed up with Twitch to reward players for watching channels streaming BO6. Though details about required watch times aren’t yet available, we do know what digital goodies will be up for grabs. You’ll find all the Twitch Drops below along with a brief primer on how to earn them.
How to earn Black Ops 6 Twitch Drops
To get Twitch Drops, you’ll need to watch eligible Twitch channels streaming Black Ops 6 Season 1. Streamers that are participating in the campaign will typically have Twitch Drops Enabled in their title, signalling that viewing their channel will count toward Drops progress.
To earn Twitch Drops progress, you’ll need to have a Twitch account and an Activision account then link the two. Start watching and any earned rewards will show up in your Drops and Rewards Inventory on Twitch. You can access it by tapping your avatar icon in the top right then selecting Drops and Rewards from the drop-down menu. Remember to claim any rewards in the Inventory before they expire.

The exact watch time requirements to earn drops haven’t been detailed by either Twitch or Activision, but we expect them to arrive shortly. Going by other Twitch Drops campaigns, the watch time requirements generally involve watching channels in 30-minute, 1-hour, 2-hour, and 4-hour intervals, as was the case with last year’s Modern Warfare 3. We tentatively expect the same for Black Ops 6.
Alongside Twitch Drops, Black Ops 6 players can also earn rewards, such as XP boosters, skins, and other cosmetics, from promos running to mark the game’s launch. So far, Monster Energy, Little Caesars, and Papa Johns all had a promotional campaign with Black Ops 6.

Viewers can snap up four different rewards for watching Black Ops 6 streams:

Check the image above for a sense of what each reward looks like. Other than the Weapon Blueprint, all of the Drops are cosmetic and designed to give you some new customization options when you dive in to play Black Ops 6 after watching the stream.
