Brutal Doom is a gameplay mod for id Software’s classic shooter, which turns the game into an even bloodier and more violent spectacle. However, it’s more than a simple gore mod. First launching in 2010, Brutal Doom allows players to aim down sights, have the ability to blow off body parts, and watch as blood drips down walls and off the ceiling. The mod has even received recognition from the original game’s creator, John Romero.
Version 20 of the mod has just launched, and as with many PC mods, installing it can be a bit of a pain. So that you don’t miss out on the fast-paced blood and guts goodness, VideoGamer has put together a guide to help walk you through the steps of installing the latest Brutal Doom mod onto your computer.
