The Blue Protocol closed beta start date will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, for PC players through the Steam platform. Unfortunately, the closed technical test won’t be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players, as the game’s FAQ page explicitly states that those invited to the event “will receive a Steam key” that you can redeem through your Steam library. It remains unclear whether Amazon Games plans on hosting an open beta period for Blue Protocol in the future.
Blue Protocol closed beta end date
The Blue Protocol closed beta end date will take place on Friday, November 10, 2023, meaning you’ll have two whole days to play through the available portions of the game if you receive an invitation. Amazon Games and Bandai Namco have revealed that during the event, you’ll be able to create your own character, try out all of the five original classes on offer, and explore its sprawling world filled with unique content, including various dungeons, raids, and missions.
How to join the Blue Protocol closed beta?
Here’s what you need to do to join the Blue Protocol closed beta:
- Head to the Blue Protocol sign-up page.
- Press the button that says “Sign in with Amazon” near the top of the landing.
- Once redirected, enter your Amazon account details to log in with your profile.
- Finally, hit the “Sign up now” button on the Blue Protocol closed technical test site, and voila! You’ll be in with a chance to receive an invite for the pre-release period.
If you aren’t chosen for the closed technical test, don’t fret. Though Amazon Games and Bandai Namco haven’t confirmed this at the time of writing, we expect there to be more early access periods ahead of Blue Protocol’s actual launch, so you may eventually get your chance to try out the game for yourself. For now, though, this is all you can do to join the game’s exclusive pre-release phase.
Blue Protocol closed beta start and end time
The Blue Protocol closed beta period will begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 9 PM BST on November 8, 2023, and will end at the same time on November 10, 2023. Bandai Namco and Amazon Games haven’t announced another pre-release period for now, so this will be the only time you can experience this exciting new Genshin-like online RPG.
Blue Protocol closed beta preload date
If you’re given an invitation to join the Blue Protocol closed technical test, you’ll be able to pre-download the game on Monday, November 6, 2023, two days before the event takes place. The preload will be available until the closed beta start time we’ve listed above, so make sure to install it early as soon as you receive an email from Amazon Games.
