Best MTZ-556 loadout and attachments in MW3

These attachments for the MTZ-556 loadout will have you wrecking matches in MW3:

  • Barrel: MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel
  • Optic: Mk. 23 Reflector
  • Stock: MTZ Marauder Stock
  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Rear Grip: Bruen TR-24 Assault Grip

One of the themes back to Modern Warfare 3 is movement and this kit is built to finesse your opponents and give you a very fast TTK (time to kill). This loadout is set up to give you more damage to excel at range. This will let you finish fights faster than your opponents can react. The optic itself is not a deciding factor. If you prefer something other than the trusty MK. 23 Reflector, feel free to swap it with something else like the Slate Reflector. The MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel barrel helps with bullet velocity.

Recoil is taken care of by the MTZ Marauder Stock. While this comes at the cost of mobility, you’ll be able to start fights first and keep firing without recoil dampening your offensive too much. While you don’t necessarily have to go quiet, we’ve opted for a suppressor to stay undetected.

As for the Bruen TR-24 Assault Grip, it’ll help you control your weapon better and enhance your mobility. But this is at the cost of ammo that could sustain longer gunfights. Alternatively, a 50 Round Drum could help you tackle shootouts against multiple foes with more ammunition. These picks round out our best MTZ-556 loadout in MW3.

Initially, the MTZ-556 does not deal as much damage as some rivals per shot

While you might need more bullets to finish an enemy at first, the right attachments will help its TTK (Time To Kill). Our loadout will helpo you get there.

Perks and Equipment for the MTZ-556 in MW3

Use the following equipment to thrive with the best MTZ-556 loadout in MW3:

  • Vest: Infantry or Gunner
  • Gloves: Scavenger or Commando
  • Gear: EOD Padding or Mission Control
  • Boots: Stalker Boots or Tactical Pads
  • Lethal: Frag Grenades
  • Tactical: Flash Grenades
  • Field Upgrades: Comm Scrambler

Our perks and equipment are also geared to help us be the movement kings on the map. The Infantry vest gives us improved Tactical Sprint duration. Alternatively, you could use the Gunner Vest to give you faster reload speed and a full supply of ammo at the start of the game. For Gloves, you can never go wrong with Scavenger to pick up ammo as you’re fragging out. You could also go with the Commando Gloves to give you the ability to reload while sprinting.

For our Gear, you can use EOD Padding to reduce the damage you take from explosives and fire, or Mission Control which reduces the killstreak cost by one kill. Both of these have their uses, it ultimately just depends on your playstyle. Finally, for our Boots, both the Stalker boots and the Tactical Pads are solid options.

Stalker gives you increased ADS movement and strafe speed, while the Tac Pads give you increased slide distance, faster stance change speeds, faster crouch movement speed, and the ability to full ADS while sliding. Stalker is probably the best choice for most, but the Tac Pads are perfect for those slide-cancelling Andys out there. Here’s how to slide cancel in MW3. Covert Sneakers are a good pick if you want to move in silence.

For our lethal grenades, Frags are great, but any of the options are spectacular. For Tactical equipment, you can’t go wrong with Flash Grenades or even a Stun Grenade. It’s a great way to take an opponent by surprise with your insane movement. For our Field Upgrade, we’re going to take Comm Scrambler. Disabling radars, UAVs, and preventing enemies from calling in killstreaks is a really strong piece of tech and worthwhile here.

Is the MTZ-556 worth it in MW3 multiplayer

While I did have a decent time with this assault rifle, I’d recommend trying the other rifles out there. The three-burst DG-58 and solid SVA 545 are my favorites. These are better in certain situations when compared to the MTZ-556. That doesn’t mean that the MTZ-556 is bad. With our loadout, it did perform admirably. But I’ll give the DG-58 a slight edge because of how precise it felt when I took foes down.

While this rifle didn’t make our best MW3 assault rifles list, it’s a solid rifle that is well-balanced. And that covers our best MTZ-556 loadout in MW3. If you want to get up close and personal, here’s how to do a finishing move in MW3. Try it out now that the game is out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
