But she’ll leave your party after you escape from the flying ship. You’ll find her on the Ravaged Beach, held prisoner by two Tieflings. Siding with her will lead to her joining your party. Best Lae’zel build

Lae’zel is formidable in melee combat. She starts off with the Great Weapon Fighting style, letting her use two-handed weapons on her foes. As a Githyanki Fighter, she gets to pick from subclasses at level 3. Early Access only lets you pick between Battle Master and Eldritch Knight. I’d suggest the former unless you figure out a way to offset her low Intelligence score.

She says that you need to find a Githyank creche. You’ll soon learn of a Githyanki patrol at The Risen Road. Fight them and you’ll learn of the location that holds the creche. How to raise Lae’zel’s approval

Acts of cruelty, prioritising yourself over other NPCs, and violent endings to quests all raise Lae’zel’s approval in Baldur’s Gate 3. While the other Baldur’s Gate 3 companions aren’t a fan of her, Shadowheart is particularly against her. You’ll have to pick between them if you’re looking to build a high approval rating with either companion. Lae’zel doesn’t like it when you show compassion or delay in getting a cure for the tadpoles stuck in your brains.

Here’s how to raise Lae’zel’s approval in Baldur’s Gate 3:

• Choose to attack Taman and Gimblelock in dialogue outside the Crypt.
• Persuade the Tieflings to Let Lae’zel go and then attack them.
• Show Guex in the Druid Grove your sword fighting technique (Athletics check).
• When Asharak asks to say a word to the Tiefling Children, say “Bad News Children, You are all going to die”
• Punching Aradin during his confrontation with Zevlor / using violence to end the confrontation.
• Talk to the bird in the Druid Grove by using Speak with Animals and intimidate it. (Charisma check).
• Convince Zorru, in the Druid Grove, to kneel.
• After interrogating Zorru, compliment Lae’zel about this.

• Respond to Volo in the Goblin Camp with “Boo! Get off the stage!”
• Take Shadowheart, Lae’zel and Astarion to the chicken chase area. Talk to Shadowheart’s area dialogue prompt and tell her not to be hasty.
• Intimidate Novice Crusher to kiss your foot in the Goblin Camp.
• Use intimidation the 2nd time to force Novice Crusher to kiss your foot.
• Tell Novice Crusher “I’d Sooner spit in your face” and then double down saying “Do you want a demonstration?”
• After telling Novice Crusher “I’d Sooner spit in your face” and then winning the fight, make him kiss your foot.
• Telling tracker Grikka (goblin near the roasting dwarf) you can get answers from the prisoner.
• Torture Liam for Torturer Spike without Wyll.

• Decline Raphael’s invitation to remove your Tadpole.
• During the 1st Tadpole Dream camp event, convince Lae’zel to stand down.
• After the 2nd Tadpole dream, telling the group to stop using the Tadpole’s powers.
• After defeating the Githyanki Patrol, win the persuasion check with Lae’zel by successfully calming her down.
• Talking to Shadowheart either in camp or the field after finding her Shar Worship. Ask her about Shar. After passing the persuasion checks and going through multiple hoops of correct dialogue, Shadowheart will explain her religion. Then call her faith evil.

Lae’zel can be romanced after you rescue Druid Halsin and arrive at the refugee celebration event.
