Baldur’s Gate 3 How to find Zevlor in Moonrise Towers

Zevlor has gone missing and is hidden away beneath Moonrise Towers. This Tiefling leader needs your help and so do various other NPCs. With the help of our guide, you can venture forth into the Mind Flayer Colony and find Zevlor. We will explain his location and how to get there.

How to complete the Find Zevlor side quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 – Where to find Zevlor

To find Zevlor, you must travel into the Mind Flayer Colony beneath Moonrise Towers. This is accessed via the tower after the Ketheric Thorm boss fight. Jump into the hole where the tentacle came out of to enter the area. Before the fight, you will get the quest to rescue Zevlor from Cerys at Last Light Inn. She will tell you that Zevlor had the Tieflings surrender to the Absolute Cultists. Now you must travel the shadow-cursed lands to find him.

After landing in the Mindflayer Colony, follow the path forward and stick to the left. This will lead you to the Tadpoling Centre. Here, you will find Zevlor and other NPCs trapped inside Mind Flayer pods. Interact with the Neural Apparatus to free him and the other NPCs. However, this will also free the fully-formed Mind Flayers. You will enter combat and need to defeat them all in order to proceed. The newly freed allies will help you during the fight, but they can also die because of it, so make sure to protect Zevlor and others.

After the fight, your character will immediately initiate dialogue with Zevlor and he will explain how he met this fate. You can then tell him to escape or you can have him join you for a fight later on.
