Much like in Dawnshore and Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp has its own totem treasure hunt where you need to track down the base along with six pieces then piece it back together to assemble the Eyes of the Obscure and reap the benefits of its buffs and perks.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find all the Totem of Revelations pieces in Avowed. If you need a helping hand to kick things off, you can buy the Fragments of the Eyes document from The Dead Swordfish tavern trader, Cinzia, in Thirdborn for 500 skeyt. It provides some opaque clues about where you’ll find each of the fragments.

Totem Base
You’ll find the Totem Core in the Shrine to Wael in the Ancient Lake in the southwest of Shatterscarp. You’ll need to approach the shrine from the northwest then follow the path over several gaps near the sea and then into a cave with several crouching sections. Press on until you reach a large chamber. The Eyes of the Obscured Totem Base is on the altar at the top of the small mound on the right as you enter.

Sapphire Eye
You’ll find the Sapphire Eye at the Sand Sea Oasis in the Great Sand Sea region in the southeastern corner of Shatterscarp. When you reach the oasis, dive into the water and swim down until you spot an open coffin near the bottom. The Sapphire Eye is next to the skeletal remains.

Ruby Eye
The Ruby Eye, like the Totem Base, is found in the Shrine to Wael in the Ancient Lakebed in the southwest of Shatterscarp. From the altar where you picked up the Totem Base, head right and you’ll find a small tunnel you can crawl through. Follow it forward and then up to reach the cliffside and an NPC called the Ward of the Eye. You can talk to the Ward and indulge her when given the option then she’ll hand over the Ruby Eye. Alternatively, you can grab it and scarper off down the ledges ahead.

Amethyst Eye
You’ll find the Amethyst Eye underneath a massive overhanging rock that forms a cave in the Ancient Lakebed to the southeast of Scaedelef. It’s the same cave where you’ll find the Mourning Thirdbornian pacing near some graves. The Amethyst Eye is sitting on a rock at the back of the cave.

Emerald Eye
You’ll find the Emerald Eye in Shark’s Teeth in the northeast of Shatterscarp. Head north past the small pond and make your way up to the path above and towards the Sharks Teeth Party Camp. You’ll then spot a tall structure surrounded by scaffolding. Climb up to the top to find the Emerald Eye.

Agate Eye
You’ll find the Agate Eye in the Sand Sea Ruins in the Great Sand Sea in the east of Shatterscarp. To reach the eye, you’ll need to ascend to the top of the ruins. Approach from the northwest and make your way up to the large dome at the top, then drop down in the hole there. Turn around and you’ll spot a doorway about halfway up where you just came from. Climb up and enter to find the Agate Eye on an altar straight ahead.

Topaz Eye
The Topaz Eye is found in Leviathan’s Hollow in the Deadfall Highlands. Enter the xaurips camp, then jump into the water below the giant skull and swim west underwater to find an underwater cave. The fragment is found on an altar in a room to the left of the ruins. You can reach it by going up to the main balcony then taking the staircase down.
Restore the Eyes of the Obscured
Set up a Party Camp, then approach the stone to assemble the pieces into the Eyes of the Obscured totem. When activated, it gives you the following buffs and perks:
- Fickle Winds – Critical hits deal high random accumulation.
- Magic in the Blood – Restoring essence also restores a small amount of health.
- Enigmatic Shield – Activating a level 15 or level 20 ability grants +% damage reduction for 10 seconds.
- Disappearing Trick – Second Wind casts Shadowing Beyond.
- Sight Beyond Eyes – +5% critical hit chance.
- The Obscured’s Vantage – +2 Intellect, +2 Perception.
