Where to find the Painter’s Regret treasure map location
To find the Painter’s Regret treasure map location, you’ll need to travel to the bridge west of Fior Mes Iverno, then make your way down to the water’s edge to the south of the bridge. Easier yet is to fast travel into the River Fork Beacon south of the bridge, then make your way north along the shore. If you stop here and take stock of your surroundings, what you see lines up more or less with what’s in the painting: the tower is Fior mes Iverno, the bridge to the north, the river, and the rocky cliffs on the other side of the water.
Continue north and you’ll come to a cave mouth. Enter the cave ahead and follow it until you come to the Waterfall Cave entrance on your right. Use a grenade to smash through the rock wall ahead of you. Run and jump across the gap to the ledge above, then follow the path up and across another gap. You’ll come across a small alcove in the cliffside on your right that houses what appears to be the artist’s temporary studio overlooking the river below with an easel, bed, and other gear.

You’ll find a glowing golden chest at the back containing the Painter’s Brush unique trinket. Looting it will complete the Painter’s Regret treasure map. When equipped, the Painter’s Brush grants a +5% buff to critical hit chance.
