Want to master stealth in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? Once you drop into Pandora, you’ll quickly realize that straightforward attacks do little against mechs and RDA troops.

While our best skills in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will give you a foothold in combat, facing waves of reinforcements can quickly end your mission. Even increasing your maximum health with the Bellsprig won’t be enough at higher difficulties. That’s where stealth comes in.

Use these 6 methods to remain stealthy in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Enemies can kill you in seconds in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, making stealth essential. Surviving against nature’s creatures is one thing. But trying to clear an RDA outpost can be frustrating if you go in guns blazing. They will overwhelm you with both numbers and sheer force. AMP suit variants with grenade launchers and flamethrowers are particularly nasty to deal with.

Here are some methods we’ve uncovered to help with stealth in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:

  • Use the SID’s ability to store hacks – You can use your SID to hack enemy AMP suits, which is great. It’s a pretty tense feeling when you’re clearing a virtual timed maze to disable an armored enemy patrolling the perimeter. But being able to store multiple hacks means that you can stun an entire convoy of AMP suits if you time your hacks right. It’s perfect for finishing objectives in an RDA outpost.
  • Get the Light-Footed Hunter I and II skills – While there are plenty of useful skills in the game, these two are particularly suited for stealth. The first one reduces noise while crouching while the second upgrade eliminates noise from movement entirely.
  • Find the Reconnaissance Ancestor skill – Ancestor skills can take a while to find. But their buffs and bonus two skill points they provide are essential to survive in the game. This specific option marks out RDA patrol routes for you, letting you scheme with greater efficiency.
  • Dive into water to avoid detection – This surefire escape route is a quick way to get enemies off your tail. Even if they’ve seen you, you’ll take fewer shots thanks to being underwater. And if you haven’t been spotted yet, swimming is a great way to move around in enemy territory.
  • Use Na’vi senses to tag enemies and check AMP weapon types – While tagging enemies is important, checking their weapons lets you plan your strategy in advance. For instance, grenade-bearing AMP suits are devastating at long range while flamethrowers can burn you to a crisp.
  • Distract enemies with your ikran mount – One quick strategy to confuse enemies is to summon your ikran mount to a location where they will immediately be spotted. And don’t worry about them since they will evade enemy fire and buy you some time.

These tips should help you with stealth in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. If you want to gain more resources before these assaults, consider powering up Field Labs in the game.
