Smack bang in the middle of Kyoto in the Yamashiro province in the Honnoji Temple. Standing as no more than a cluster of building carcasses after being ravaged by fire, it’s seen better days, but that works to your advantage as there are no pesky guards loitering around.
As with other temples like Toji and Kinkakuji, you’ll need to find a set of Lost Pages to complete the area. These are hidden away in the remains of the temple and, given its size, can be a little tricky to find. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find all four of the Honnoji Temple Lost Pages locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Make sure you’re using Naoe’s Observe ability to track down the white dots denoting the pages.

Honnoji Temple Lost Page 1 location
You’ll find the first page on a small building opposite a large tree you can climb up in the southeast of the temple grounds. Check the image above for the exact location. It’s resting on a wooden repair ledge on the roof of the building.

Honnoji Temple Lost Page 2 location
You can find the second page in a small garden just west of the temple’s central building. It’s just above the first ‘o’ in Honnoji Temple on the world map. It’s on a rock next to a torn yellow flag and toppled-over Buddha statue.

Honnoji Temple Lost Page 3 location
You’ll find the third page on the roof of the collapsed building in the very northwest of the temple grounds. Use the collapsed roofs to reach the top and you’ll find the document on a wooden ledge on the northernmost part of the roof.

Honnoji Temple Lost Page 4 location
You’ll find the fourth and final page underneath a house in the northwest of the temple grounds, next to a small pond with a red bridge going over it. Use the crawl space running under the house to reach the page. There are three entrances to the crawl space – one on the north side of the house, another on the south, and one last one on the east side.
Once you’ve found all four Lost Pages, you’ll complete the Honnoji Temple area in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. As a reward, you’ll receive 500 XP and a Knowledge Point. The point contributes towards unlocking the next Knowledge Rank in the kill tree, granting access to better skills.
