The last MW2 season before the much-anticipated launch of Modern Warfare 3 is here and it comes packed with many features. From new weapons to operators and maps, there’s a lot to take away from MW2 and Warzone Season 6.

As with most new seasons, Activision has also unveiled the Blackcell battle pass for Season 6 which includes new weapons, skins as well as a golden pet named Megabyte and various other rewards. Before we dive into the details of the battle pass and whether it’s worth buying, be sure to go over the MW2 and Warzone Season 6 weapons list.

Is MW2 Season 6 Battle Pass worth it?

If you’d like to get the best out of the final season of Modern Warfare 2, then it’s totally worth it to buy the battle pass. It comes with many interesting items and equipment that’ll give you a fun experience throughout Season 6. So let’s go over all the battle pass items and the reasons they’re worth it.

First off, there’s the new Tracer weapon blueprints which are highly sought-after by players because they add a unique visual effect to your weapon. So if you want to stand out amongst the crowd, this will come in handy.

And just like the previous Tactical Pet Merlin in Season 5, Season 6 is bringing a new Tactical Pet named Megabyte. This pet will act as your companion in battle and if given the chance, will unleash its own set of finishing moves on enemies but will not fight alongside you throughout a match.

Then there’s the Blackcell smoke grenade which can create a dense cloud of smoke that blocks out all vision. You can use it to escape from situations where you’ve become outnumbered, flank enemies, or simply create chaos on the battlefield.

The 20+ Tier Skips will help you progress through the battle pass more quickly, so you can unlock all of the rewards sooner if you don’t like waiting for too long. You will also get 1,100 CoD Points which you can use to purchase new weapons, operators, and vehicle skins from the in-game store.

Operator skins, on the other hand, allow you to customise the appearance of your operators. Buying the Blackcell battle pass will give you 10 exclusive operator skins, so you can find the perfect look for your favourite operators. You will also be given 2 Vehicle skins to customise the appearance of your vehicles so you can ride around in style.

Ultimately, the battle pass offers great value for players. It includes a variety of exclusive rewards that can help you improve your performance in battle and customise your overall MW2 experience at $29.99.

So it’s up to you if you’d like to spend money to get the above items that come with the Blackcell battle pass. If you’re not already aware, be sure to go over the new MW2 and Warzone Season 6 Operator list as well as the new maps list to know what’s coming in the new season.
