The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.
Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service. Releases outside of the UK could vary.
PlayStation 3 - PSN
Headlining the PSN line-up this week are demos for two sports titles: Sony's NBA 08 and EA's FIFA Street 3. NBA 08 is unlikely to thrill too many Brits, but FIFA Street's arcade footy action is well worth the download - we liked it at its unveiling back in October.
On the premium content front we've got a new Folklore expansion (£1.49) and various Guitar Hero III songs and song packs (£1.49 to £3.99). Rounding things off are trailers for highly anticipated titles Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Borderlands and GT5 Prologue.
This week's PSN line-up is

Xbox 360 - Marketplace
Xbox LIVE Arcade games didn't come in twos for a change this week, with Boogie Bunnies being the only new game to arrive on the service. We're not totally convinced its matching colours puzzle gameplay is worth the 800 points, but why not try it for yourself by downloading the free trial? The previously released Pinball FX receives a new table this week (Nightmare Mansion) at the cost of 200 MS Points.
More exciting is the release of Burnout 3: Takedown as part of the Xbox Originals range. At 1200 MS Points it's not cheap, but Takedown is one of the most exciting arcade racers ever released and will get you in the mood for next week's release of Burnout Paradise.
Demo wise Xbox 360 owners get FIFA Street 3, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom and Turok. Touchstone's next-gen reinvention of the Turok franchise is receiving plenty of attention ahead of its February 8 release date, but you can decide for yourself if it's worth the money by trying the demo.
Rounding things off are a number of 150 MS Points Themes for your dashboard, a handful of Gamer Pics and videos for Army of Two, Too Human and a celebrity bowling tournament.

Head to page 3 for a look at this week's Wii Virtual Console releases.
Wii Virtual Console
Wii owners don't always get the best games to choose from on the Virtual Console, but this week we've been treated to a classic. 1080 Snowboarding from Nintendo provided many N64 gamers with some of their fondest memories of the console, in no small part to the incredibly addictive trick mode performed in a half-pipe. At the time the game featured the most incredible snow effects and incredible animations. It doesn't stand up so well today, but we'd still recommend you give it a look.
Riot Zone, the TuroGrafx-16 side-scrolling beat 'em up, isn't quite so highly recommended. At 800 Wii Points it's not nearly as good value as 1080 and far too easy. It's a poor alternative to Streets of Rage and Final Fight.
1080 Snowboarding - N64 (1000 Wii Points)
Riot Zone - TurboGrafx-16 (800 Wii Points)
And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...
Xbox 360 Marketplace
For a second week running the Xbox 360 Marketplace takes the crown, although things were a lot tighter this week. In the end it was really a toss up between Burnout 3 and 1080 and we feel that Burnout just edges it. There's no denying that back in the day 1080 was an incredible experience, but Burnout 3 is still an amazingly exciting racer when compared to the most recent releases.
You won't be disappointed if you're a Wii owner, but PS3 gamers might wonder where their full game releases are this week.
